About sarah and yasmin's dream
The faces behind this project
Sarah and Yasmin were inspired to create this project after spending time volunteering at multiple charities such as the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation, The Pyjama Angel Foundation and the Koala Hospital Port Macquarie.
Inspiring leaders from each of these charities taught and continues to teach Sarah and Yasmin about the importance of helping others in need and that everyone needs a little help sometimes.

They learnt that the number one requested item by communities in need were backpacks filled with stationery, books to read for fun and activity books. They have personally donated their pocket-money, pre-loved books they want share with others and stationery to the charities.

From their experience and understanding what other kids their age needs, they wanted to start their own initiative to give other kids the same start to kindergarten they had.
